Janesville Parker Vikings dominate Kenosha Tremper, other scores

Janesville Parker High School had no problems sending Kenosha Tremper to a 60-29 defeat Tuesday in the first round of the La Crosse Logan girls basketball tournament.


Tremper led 12-11 after the first quarter, but it was all Vikings the rest of the way.


Parker hammered the Trojans 22-4 in the second quarter for a 33-16 halftime lead.


Sophomore Ashley Hartwig scored eight of her game-high 17 points to lead the Vikings’ second-quarter charge. Teammates Julia Dement added six of her nine points and Savannah Shepler scored five of her 12 points in the second quarter. Danielle Flood finished with 12.


Parker plays Logan today at 2:45 p.m.

Cambridge Tournament
