Milton boys hang on, other scores

Milton High survived two Stoughton possessions in the final seconds to hang on for a 42-41 victory in Badger South boys basketball Tuesday night.


Stoughton rebounded a missed Milton shot with 29 seconds left and played for a final shot. Milton knocked the ball away, but was called for traveling with five seconds left. The visiting Vikings managed a three-point shot at the buzzer, but the ball bounced off the rim.


Sam McCann led Milton (4-4, 1-3) with 13 points.


Max Fuller led the Vikings (0-8, 0-4 with 16, while Ben Cleveland had 12.

Brian Tordoff and Michael Barrett each scored 16 points for the Cheesemakers (7-0, 5-0).


Regulation ended in a 50-all tie.


Brock Pavlik had 15 points, and Austin Arians 12 for Edgewood.
