Lomomba scores 27, leads Memorial past La Follette

Junior Lomomba continues to show why he’s one of the best high school boys basketball players in the state.


The Madison Memorial junior scored 27 points Tuesday night to lead the seven-time defending Big Eight champions to a 67-54 conference win over visiting Madison La Follette.


Memorial (7-1, 6-0) led by double digits at half and increased the lead in the third quarter as the Spartans increased their conference lead to a full game over idle Beloit Memorial.


Taylor Carlson had 21 points to lead the Lancers.
