— Authorities are investigating a robbery in Pell Lake Tuesday morning at the same bank that was robbed in June.

Officers were called to the First Banking Center, Pell Lake Branch on Park Street about 10:25 a.m.

The robber displayed a handgun and demanded money from the teller drawers, according to a news release from the Bloomfield Police Department.

Tellers complied, and the robber put an undisclosed amount of money into what police describe as a bluish-green bag.

The suspect the fled on foot.

Town of Bloomfield Police Chief Steve Cole described the robber as a white male, 5' 9", wearing a black hoodie with a Fox Motor Sports logo.

He said he had a thin build, short dark colored hair and a beard that was neatly trimmed at the jaw line, but bushy at his chin.

The robber wore a hockey mask of the kind used in the movie "Friday the 13th."

The suspect in the June robbery was described as a tall, slender white male, 6-foot-3, wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark cargo pants and black leather gloves with holes in them.

The robber was carrying a bag with lettering on it and he was wearing shiny sunglasses and a western style handkerchief over his face.
