FONTANA -- No injuries were reported in a fire that broke out about noon Saturday at the Abbey Resort in Fontana.

Investigators said the believe towels and linens caught fire, and smoke spread to four buildings on the complex.

Guests were evacuated for about two hours while firefighters cleared the buildings.

Fontana Assistant Fire Chief Tom Westphal said heavy smoke was pouring out of one of the guest buildings when crews arrived.

Officials told WISN TV that the fire was burning behind a wall storage closet, and firefighters had to break open a wall to get to the fire.
