— The Beloit Snappers’ four-game winning streak came to an end Tuesday night.

Quad Cities’ Matt Adams hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to give the Bandits a 5-3 victory over the Snappers at Pohlman Field.

Brian Dozier’s RBI single and a sacrifice fly from Angel Morales keyed a two-run fourth inning for the Snappers and tied the score at 2-all. Beloit then went ahead, 3-2, when Steven Liddle drove in Aaron Hicks in the sixth. Hicks had reached on a bunt single.

Hicks finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

The Snappers’ homestand continues with a 6:30 p.m. game today with Brad Stillings (0-1) starting for Beloit.
