-- DANIEL A. BAKER, 28, of 612 W. Holmes St., Janesville, at 2:21 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at his home on a charge of substantial battery.


-- DANNY R. RANKIN, 54, of 952 S. Terrace St., Janesville at 8:05 a.m. Monday at home on a charge of stalking. The charge is related to Rankin's alleged behavior around a 38-year-old Janesville female.

-- ROBBERY reported at 9:07 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Washington Street, Janesville. A man reported being beaten and robbed 10 days earlier in a parking lot downtown. He said $115 was taken from him.


-- BATTERY BY PRISONER reported at 11:35 a.m. Thursday in the Rock County Juvenile Detention Center. Two inmates reportedly got into a fight.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- KARI A. OLSON, 24, of 4112 Galaxy Drive, Janesville, at 12:27 a.m. Sunday at Center Avenue and Holmes Street, Janesville.


-- JOSE A. MACIEL, 57, of 320 Cherry St., Janesville, at 12:57 p.m. Sunday at Center Avenue and State Street, Janesville. It was reportedly his fifth offense.


-- PAUL A. WARGOWSKY, 41, of 9130 N. Fulton St., Edgerton, at 10:44 p.m. Saturday at County H north of Condon Road, Fulton Township. It was reportedly his fourth offense. Also ticketed for operating left of center and operating while suspended.


-- RONALD R. CROSS, 33, of 8985 Second St., No. 5, Edgerton, at 12:21 a.m. Saturday at County H north of Highway 14, Center Township. It was reportedly his third offense. Also ticketed for sixth-offense operating after revoked.


Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 140 SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 43, Clinton Township, at 7:25 a.m. Friday, a sport utility vehicle driven by Pauline R. Schork, 32, of 3449 Tennyson Drive, Janesville, collided with a bicycle ridden by Austin L. Hedges, 13, of 6243 S. Highway 14, Clinton. Hedges was treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital.


-- HIGHWAY 51 NORTH OF COUNTY M, Plymouth Township, at 7:10 a.m. Friday, a car driven by Clinton R. Schuetz, 17, of 314 E. Samuelson Drive, Edgerton, collided with a vehicle driven by Andrew C. Martin, 34, Hortonville. Schuetz and his passenger, Dillon J. Miller, 17, of 8680 N. Black Oak Drive, Edgerton, were transported to a local hospital, but their conditions were unknown Monday.


-- AVALON ROAD WEST OF SCOTT STREET, Rock Township, at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, a van driven by James S. Day III, 30, of 27 S. John Paul Road, Milton, drifted off the road and struck a telephone pole. Day was admitted and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.


-- COUNTY M EAST OF HIGHWAY 51, Fulton Township, at 7:44 a.m. Friday, a pickup truck driven by Justin M. Harrison, 18, Beloit, went off the road and struck a utility pole. Harrison was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions. He also was transported to a local hospital, but his condition was unknown Monday.


-- HIGHWAY 51 NORTH OF HIGHRIDGE DRIVE, Janesville Township, at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, a car driven by David R. Henning Jr., 24, of 1050 Carrington St., Janesville, hit a deer, pushing the deer into an oncoming car driven by Eugene G. Williams, 70, Beloit, which braked, causing a collision between a car driven by Albert J. Wille, 56, of 6601 N. Consolidated School Road, Janesville, and a car driven by Vanessa A. Orozco, 28, of 32 S. Main St., Apt. D, Janesville. Orozco was ticketed for knowingly operating without a valid driver's license causing property damage. Williams and his passenger, Scott A. Schumacher, 41, Beloit, were treated and released from Mercy Hospital. Orozco also was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- MATTHEW P. PEARSON, 20, of 264 S. Church St., Whitewater, on Friday on South Fourth Street, Whitewater.


-- BRANDON A. RENTERIA, 19, Waterford, at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday on Starin Road on the UW-Whitewater campus. He also was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
