— Want to get an idea of what our troops are eating for lunch today? Meals-Ready-To-Eat, or MREs will be the main dish Monday at a special Support the Troops Rally.

The weekly rally, sponsored by the Walworth County Council of the American Legion, celebrates its fifth anniversary today.

The first rally was held on Nov. 29, 2004, at the outbreak of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Today's rally, the 252nd, will be held at the Wisconsin National Guard Armory at 401 E. Fair Avenue in Elkhorn, instead of the Government Center downtown.

The MRE's will be furnished by the Wisconsin National Guard, and will provide opportunity for those in attendance to see what our troops eat when in the field. Please try to attend.
