Lake Geneva man dies in rollover accident near Chippewa Falls

— A Lake Geneva man died early today following a rollover accident Sunday near Chippewa Falls.

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram reports that Blair D. Kelley, 44, of Lake Geneva died at Luther Hospital at 6:30 a.m. Monday after he rolled his vehicle over at 11:35 p.m. Sunday on Highway X, near Highway 29, in the town of Wheaton.

According to the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department:

Kelley was traveling east when he failed to negotiate a curve as Highway X intersects with Highway 29.

Kelley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the 2000 Chevrolet pickup, and the vehicle landed on top of him, pinning him underneath.
