— A Mukwonago man has pleaded no contest to three felony counts of delivering a controlled substance after serving pot brownies to unsuspecting co-workers.

Adam R. Carson, 26, of Mukwonago told police he boiled four cups of marijuana leaves along with a pound of butter, then baked it into heart-shaped brownies.

He fed the brownies to his co-workers Feb. 18 at Heaven City Restaurant. No customers were fed the brownies.

Two of the three co-workers, a 27-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man, were taken by ambulance to Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

The third worker, a 50-year-old woman, became sick at home and was driven to the hospital by her husband.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 13, according to court records.

rick: Are you trying to make an excuse for this moron? Maybe you should open your eyes and read abit closer "A chef who baked marijuana-laced brownies and fed them to three unsuspecting co-workers at Heaven City Restaurant pleaded no contest to three felony counts of delivering a controlled substance." Sounds to me they had no idea to me. He's just lucky the older guy didn't die, lock this moron up for a long long time. My guess is they all got sick and put 2 & 2 together.

I just wonder if they all got "rushed to the hospital" before or AFTER he told them? If it was before, then they have my sympathy.. if it was AFTER, it makes me wonder if they had an hysterical reaction... really? Hospitalization from a marijuana brownie?
