BURLINGTON, Iowa—Jaycob Brugman’s first-inning RBI single was all the Beloit Snappers needed Saturday night in a 1-0 Midwest League win over the Burlington Bees.

Lou Trivino (1-2) and Andres Avila combined on the shutout, allowing only six hits and striking out seven.

The teams wrap up the three-game series this afternoon before Beloit returns to Pohlman Field to begin a series with the Peoria Chiefs.
