The snow has melted and temperatures are warm enough to venture outside without worrying about frostbite. So this weekend, explore nature up close in Kansasville, watch thousands of eggs fall from the sky and hunt for them in Delavan, or cuddle up to bunnies, chicks and guinea pigs in Mukwonago.

Spring clown workshop, April 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 145 S. Prairie St., Whitewater.  The new clowns will learn the art of clown makeup for the white face and Auguste face clown. This is a beginning class and no clown experience is required. Lakeland Egg Drop, April 12, Lake Lawn Airport, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan. Watch thousands of eggs fall from the sky and then watch as kids rush to the fields to gather them. There will be five zones for different ages so that kids have lots of fun and stay safe. Check in at 9:45 a.m. with entertainment by the Smage Brothers beginning at 10:15am, and the Egg Drop, at 11 .am.
