MILTON—Milton police have arrested two juveniles for breaking windows at Milton Middle School and causing $1,000 in damage to the building, authorities said.

According to a release from the Milton Police Department, an anonymous person tipped police that a Milton juvenile had broken two windows at the school, which is at 20 E. Madison Ave., Milton.

One of the juveniles admitted breaking the windows with a medium-sized rock, and said another Milton juvenile was involved, police said. A second juvenile later admitted to helping vandalize the school.

Police arrested the two, who Milton Police Chief Dan Layber said were a male and a female, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both juveniles face misdemeanor charges for damage to property and being a party to a crime, police said.
