Ukraine 'Holodomor' exhibit at Beloit
BELOIT--Holodomor: Extermination by Hunger is an exhibit of posters and artwork created by Ukrainian people reflecting on Holodomar. The exhibit will be presented for one week, from April 1-6 at Wright Museum of Art at Beloit College, 700 College St., Beloit.
The Holodomor was a man-made famine and contested genocide that took place in 1932-33 under Joseph Stalin in the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic and the Kuban region of Russia.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission is free.
