Gov. Scott Walker and part of the cast and crew of a classic film comedy will be at the Grand Geneva Resort, 7036 Grand Geneva Way, in Lake Geneva this morning at the annual Wisconsin Governor's Conference on Tourism.

Walker is scheduled to briefly speak at the 9 a.m. breakfast meeting.

Wisconsin Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett and some of the stars and directors of the film “Airplane!” will debut the Department of Tourism's new 2014 TV ad campaign, which spoofs the 1980 comedy.

The movie was directed by Wisconsin natives David and Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams, and featured Robert Hays and former Milwaukee Bucks player and the NBS's all-time scoring leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. All were reunited to film the ad in the cockpit of an airplane.

The Wisconsin Governor's Conference on Tourism runs from March 2-4, and is expected to draw about 1,000 members of Wisconsin's tourism industry, including innkeepers, restaurant owners, local and state tourism officials.
