Badger South girls hoops: Fort downs Milton

Kylie Coleman scored seven of her game-high 15 points in the third quarter to help Fort Atkinson pull away from Milton in a girls basketball game on Thursday night.

The visiting Red Hawks never got untracked offensively in a 42-30 Badger South Conference loss that ended the regular season.

Both teams finished with 2-10 league records.

Anna Gunderson scored seven points to pace Milton.

The Red Hawks drew a No. 10 seed in their WIAA Division 2 regional and travel to Delavan-Darien on Tuesday night.

•  Monona Grove 57, Monroe 37—Taylor Nelson scored 22 points thanks to four 3-pointers and the Cheesemakers lost their regular-season finale.

Sophomore guard Brooke Adams had eight points for Monroe.
