Gymnastics: Parker takes sixth in Middleton Invitational

Hailey Leisten finished fifth on floor exercise and ninth in the all-around to lead Janesville Parker’s gymnastics team to a sixth-place finish at the Middleton Invitational on Saturday.

Middleton, led by all-around champion Aryn Skibba, won the team title with 140.05. Madison Memorial was second with 138.95.

“This was the last invitational for our four seniors on varsity,” Parker coach Heidi Jegerlehner said. “Overall, we had a so-so day against some very good competition.”

Parker competes against Milton on Tuesday before hosting Janesville Craig on Thursday.
