Halladay named NAHL's top goalie of December
After posting a 5-0 record in the month of December, Janesville Jets goaltender Logan Halladay was named the North American Hockey League’s goaltender of the month. The streak capped a string of eight straight starts in which Halladay didn’t lose a game.
He allowed seven goals in six December appearances and saved 192 of 199 shots. The Jets went 5-1 in the month to get over .500 to start the new year. The five wins moved Halladay’s record to 10-4-1 on the season.
“Logan was giving our team confidence and giving us a chance to win every night, which is why we continued to try and ride that momentum,” said Jets coach Joe Dibble in a league statement. “We know there are a lot of eyes on him right now, but it is all about the team success with Logan. He puts the Jets first and he knows that his performance is 100 percent about the team.”
