The holidays are past, and the bustle of the year is slowly starting up but a few activities are on the calendar:

The choir of Millard Community Covenant Church will present a cantata, "Bethlehem Morning" Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. at the church N6713 County Highway O, Elkhorn.  No admission charge; everyone welcome.

Auditions, Jan. 5-6, for Lakeland Players' musical "Sweet Charity" to be held at the Walworth County PAC, 15 W. Walworth St. in Elkhorn. Sunday at 2 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m. Men & Women ages 18 or older (16- and 17-year old must have written permission from a parent). Come with a prepared song to sing and wear appropriate shoes for a short dance movement.  (262) 728-5578

Affordable Care Act Informational Session, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m., East Troy Public Library, 3094 Graydon Ave, East Troy. Walworth County Affordable Care Act Awareness Steering Committee will host this event to provide information to the public on the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Marketplace.
