ROCK COUNTY

Reported

-- THEFT reported at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday of a trash can from the curb in the 13000 block of West Brandherm Road, town of Avon.

-- CREDIT CARD FRAUD reported at 10:26 a.m. Friday after an unknown person made a purchase online with a Janesville man's credit card.

-- THEFT reported at 10:27 a.m. Friday from Kwik Trip, 254 E. Memorial Drive, Janesville. More than $30 of gas was stolen.

-- VANDALISM AND THEFT reported at 12:14 a.m. Friday in the north side lot of Craig High School, 401 S. Randall Ave., Janesville. A backpack containing schoolwork and a wallet were stolen from a pickup truck.

-- THEFT reported at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Spaulding Avenue, Janesville. City garbage and recycling bins were stolen.

Arrests

-- PATRICIA A. D'HANIS, 45, of South Beloit, Ill., at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday at 100 N. Jackson St., Janesville, on a charge of embezzlement after stealing personal identification information and documents.

-- KHALIA D. SINGLETON, 17, of Beloit, at 4:45 a.m. Friday, at 2500 Milton Ave., Janesville, on charges of credit card forgery.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- ELIJAH T. GORECKI, 19, of 4324 E. Tomahawk Lane, town of Harmony, at 3:33 a.m. Friday at Madison and Ravine streets, Janesville. He also was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Accidents

-- PARKING LOT OF AFTON PUB N PARK BAR, 4910 S. County D, Afton, at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. A vehicle driven by William J. Silveus, 68, of 5412 Baxter Lane, Janesville, crashed into the building after the vehicle's brakes failed. A patron who was leaving the bar through the door adjacent to the crash site sustained minor injury to his elbow. No citations were issued.

GREEN COUNTY

Arrests

-- JERRY V. COPLIEN, 22, Orangeville, Ill., at 12:09 a.m. Thursday on Highway 69 at 17th Street, Monroe, on charges of operating while suspended. The arrest was reported to be his fourth offense.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- MEGAN L. NORTON, 20, Monticello, at 2:01 a.m. Thursday on Highway 11 west of County S, in the town of Jefferson. She also was arrested on charges of operating with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and cited for passing into oncoming traffic.

-- GARRETT J. NICKEL, 32, Janesville, at 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 11, between Juda and Monroe. The arrest was reported as his fourth offense (drug-related) on an intoxicated driving charge. He also was arrested on charges of possession of a narcotic plus cited for speeding, reckless driving, operating a vehicle without insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
