Roger A. Roh, Janesville/Muscoda, WI (1946-2013)

Roger A. Roh, age 67, of Janesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at his residence. He was born on May 21, 1946, in Beloit, the son of Alvin and Melvina (Stephenson) Roh. Roger was an avid musician playing in the Bobby Duell Band for many years. He liked to travel, was generous, a fantastic writer and an avid photographer.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany (Will) Wanless of Amherst, VA; a brother, Ed (Kim) Roh of Fountain Hills, AZ; a special and best friend, Rozann Layton of Spring Green; his extended family: Jim (Denise) Layton and their family of Spring Green, Michael (Wendy) Layton and their family of Spring Green, Doug (Jenny) Layton and their family of Richland Center, Lisa (Michael) Rossi and their family of Valrico, FL, Barb (Todd) Newton and their family of Spring Green, Donnie Layton and his family of Lone Rock, Bonnie (Randy) Wehler and their family of Baraboo. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Melvina Roh; his son, Jon Roh; and his stepfather, Cletus Laufenberg.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the RICHARDSON-STAFFORD FUNERAL HOME in Spring Green. Rev. Joel Bauman will officiate with burial in the Muscoda Cemetery at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, from 3 until 5 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. “I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.” On line condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com.
