The National Weather Service in Sullivan has issued a dense fog advisory over portions of southern Wisconsin, including Walworth County.

Moist air moving into the state has created portions of dense fog, with visibility down to less than a quarter-mile in many areas.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance between vehicles.

The dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday.

It will be cloudy toady, with a high temperature of 58 degrees, and southeast winds of five to 10 mph. Rain and thunderstorms move in tonight with a low of 52, then rain likely tomorrow, with a chance of thunderstorms after 7 a.m. and a high of 62.
