-- KELLOGG AVENUE NEAR LAFAYETTE STREET, JANESVILLE, at 3:08 p.m. Thursday, when a car driven by Kelicha R. Johnston, 29, of 2222 S. Osborne Ave., Janesville, collided with the rear of a pickup truck driven by Mary K. Ellis, 60, of 202 Jackman St., Janesville. Ellis was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Johnston was cited for inattentive driving and driving while suspended.

-- HIGHWAY 14 JUST WEST OF HIGHWAY 140, TOWN OF BRADFORD, at 2:12 p.m. Oct. 21, when a car driven by Ashlee N. Aspaas, 23, of 3006 Mount Zion Ave., Janesville, was westbound on Highway 14 and drifted off the road and into the ditch, hitting a traffic sign post and then spinning into the eastbound lane where a collision occurred with a truck driven by Bobby D. Rushing, 53, of Union Grove. Aspaas was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. She was cited for inattentive driving and operating left of the centerline.

-- HIGHWAY 14, JUST WEST OF TUTTLE ROAD IN THE TOWN OF PORTER at 8:06 p.m. Friday, when a minivan driven by Christine Bell, 39, of 4700 W. Highway 14, No. 8, Janesville, ran out of gas and stopped with a corner of the van protruding onto the roadway. Another westbound vehicle, a pickup driven by Jeffrey M. Gier, 44, of 19 W. Main St., No. 16, Evansville, slowed but could not avoid hitting the minivan. Bell was treated at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and discharged Sunday. Gier was treated and released at Mercy. Bell was cited for operating after suspension, non-registration of vehicle and driving without insurance. A passenger in Bell's vehicle, Rufus G. Miller, same address as Bell, was cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
