Arrests

-- A 36-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE MAN, arrested Saturday at his residence on charges of second-degree sexual assault, battery and disorderly conduct while armed, all as incidents of domestic violence, and resisting an officer. The Gazette's policy is not to identify people charged with sexual assault until formally charged by the district attorney.

-- ANNA M. HOFF, 21, of 3810 W. Cemetery Road, Janesville, at 3:49 p.m. Friday at her residence on charges of strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct, all as incidents of domestic violence.

-- KYLER K. WILLING, 26, of 1147 N. Emerald Grove Road, town of Johnstown, at 11:13 p.m. Thursday at the Rock County Jail, Janesville, on a charge of assault by a prisoner.

Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 14 AT DEERFIELD DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 5:43 p.m. Thursday, when a car driven by Kimberly L. Schmidt, 32, of 111 Milwaukee Road, Clinton, collided in the intersection with a car driven by Kimberly M. Story, 44, of 10529 E. County A, Whitewater. Both were treated and released, at local hospitals, Schmidt at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, and Story at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital. Schmidt was cited for failure to stop for a red light.

-- GRANT AVENUE AT LINDEN AVENUE, JANESVILLE, at 2:02 p.m. Sept. 28, when a car driven by Ralph W. Honeysett, 82, of 705 N. Arch St., Janesville, hopped a curb onto a terrace, crossed the intersection, hopped another curb, hit a fire hydrant and came to rest against a tree. Honeysett told police he felt dizzy beforehand. He was admitted overnight for observation and released the next day at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital.

-- MILTON-HARMONY TOWNLINE ROAD AT GOODGER DRIVE at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, when a bicycle ridden by Lyman W. Fena Jr., 78, of 5322 E. Milton-Harmony Townline Road, Milton, collided with a car driven by Jared J. Dean, 29, of 1646 S. Walnut St., Janesville. Fena was turning left from the far right side of Townline Road, hitting the side of the car as it passed. Fena was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.
