Vortex Conference returns to Burlington
BURLINGTON--From the ancient history of mound builders to UFOs, all things paranormal and other-worldly will be discussed at the sixth annual Burlington Vortex Conference, October 25-27 at the Sci-Fi Café and Educational Center, 532 N. Pine St, in Burlington.
Topics for lectures and programs also include crop circles, alien abductions, and ancient races. Included among the authors making presentations is Walworth County's own Linda Godfrey, who will be speaking about her book, “Real Wolfmen: True Encounters in Modern America.”
Conference officials advertise Burlington as “one of the nation's most haunted towns," saying it is home to ancient mound builders, rock and earthen mounds, ancient temples, underground tunnel and cave systems, bottomless lakes, multi-dimensional portals, star gates, UFO sightings, and stories within its architecture.
