LAKE GENEVA — Members of the Badger High School FFA Chapter have been selected to compete in an FFA career development event in October at the 86th National FFA Convention & Expo.

Badger FFA members will travel to Louisville, Ky., to vie for national honors in the area of veterinary science. Students Chandler Carlson, Miranda Hall, Rebecca Kamps and Taylor Kundert will compete in the event.

Veterinary science is one of 25 national career development events. Participants will be tested in a written exam as well as in breed, equipment and parasite identification. Members also must demonstrate hands-on skills in clinical and handling/restraining practices.

Candice Olson and Larry Plapp serve as advisers for the Badger FFA chapter.
