Janesville's 9U team advances to knockout portion of tournament

The local team defeated Crown Point (Ind.) and host Vincennes (Ind.) on Thursday before losing to Southeast Lexington (Ky.) on Friday.

Janesville is the No. 6 seed in the single-elimination bracket play that begins today. The local team plays Riley (Ind.) at 2 p.m.

Alec Campbell and Keegan Knutson were voted Player of the Game for Janesville in the two wins Thursday. Nate Bowditch was Player of the Game for Janesville in Friday’s loss.
