Duane A. "Xander" Bloedel Wille, Janesville (2004 - 2014)
June 8, 2004 - August 28, 2014
Duane A. "Xander" Bloedel Wille, 10 yrs. old, a lifelong Janesville resident, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at UW Hospital & Clinics, Madison, following a severe asthma attack. Xander, in his loving and caring way, extended the gift of life to at least 5 other children through organ donation! He was born June 8, 2004 in Janesville, to Duane E. Wille II and Jennifer L. Bloedel. He was about to enter the 4th grade at Jackson Elementary School.
Xander loved games of all kinds, and especially enjoyed video games and watching his cartoons. He loved to cook, and his Famous Spaghetti with his secret ingredient (mushrooms) will be remembered as his masterpiece! He loved animals, and also "loved to go fast", whether it be 4 wheeling, riding in the car, or riding his bike!
He was a young boy with a huge heart, and always was looking out for others, never wanting anybody to be lacking or wanting for anything. His greatest comfort was being able to snuggle on the couch with his Mom or his wonderful "buddy", Craig.
Xander is survived by his Mom & Dad, Jennifer Bloedel and Craig Gaethke; his 2 sisters, Angel and Mykayla Bloedel; his maternal grandparents, Debra & Jeff Bloedel, and Skip & Sarah Johnson; his father, Duane E. Wille II; his paternal grandparents, Toni & Duane Wille; his aunts and uncles, Joe Bloedel, Tommy and Donald Gaethke, Kelly and Daniel Wille; and by many cousins and dear friends. He also will be missed by his hamster, George, and his dogs, Daisy & Dizzel. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Kevin & Christopher.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES. Private family interment will take place on Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
