The Under the Influence of Music Tour, featuring Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign and a string of hip-hop performers, cancelled its Aug. 9 show at Alpine Valley Music Theatre, according to promoter Live Nation.

Would-be concert goers can call Ticketmaster customer service at (800) 653-8000 for refund information.

The Under the Influence tour kicks off next week Thursday in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Last week, rapper Tyga confirmed on Twitter he was dropping out of the tour. He apologized to fans for the sudden cancellation, saying he needed to finish and album and get ready for a movie part.

While Live Nation describes the Alpine cancellation as “due to unforeseen circumstances,” the fact that the tour will keep its Aug. 5 stop in Tinley Park, Illinois—just southwest of Chicago, has some fans wondering.

“Doing a hip-hop show out in the sticks - 60 miles away from your Chicago show four days earlier? 'Unforeseen Circumstances' means they didn't sell any tickets,” was a comment on a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel site from a reader named “mdhdog.”

There are currently only two concerts scheduled at Alpine Valley next month: a pairing of Kiss and Def Leppard on Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m., and Jimmy Buffett Saturday, Aug. 23.
