Arrests

--EUGENIO ARELLANO FELIPE, 28, of 2809 Woodlane Drive, Janesville, at 9:24 p.m. Monday at 200 E. Highway 14, Janesville, on a charge of possession of cocaine.

--TAIWAN R. EDWARDS, 18, of 222 N. Franklin St., No. 212, Janesville, at 9:40 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Van Buren Street, Janesville, on charges of obstructing an officer, possession of cocaine, and probation violation.

Intoxicated driving arrests

--BENJAMIN J. WAHRLE, 22, of 3718 Goldenrod Place, Janesville, at 4:06 a.m. Saturday at North County F, Janesville.

Injury accidents

--HIGHWAY 140 SOUTH OF EAST LARSEN ROAD, town of Bradford, at 2 p.m. Friday. A car driven by Emily S. Metclaf, 20, of 6205 E. County MM, Janesville, was southbound on Highway 140 when she veered into a cornfield, grazed an electric pole and came to a stop farther in the field. Metclaf was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

--COUNTY ROAD M AND NORTH TOLLES ROAD, town of Porter, at 5:18 p.m. Saturday. A car driven by Shelby R. Benage, 32, of 430 W. Main St., Mount Horeb, collided with a car driven by Roger L. Rittenhouse, 52, of 11004 N. Rock River Drive, Edgerton. Taken to an area hospital with minor injuries were Benage; Benage's passenger, Nathan A. Mee-Han Hill, 2004 Cottonwood Drive, Janesville; Rittenhouse, and Rittenhouse's passenger, Lisa A. Rittenhouse, 11004 N. Rock River Drive, Edgerton.

--HIGHWAY 59 EAST OF EAST HARBOR ROAD, town of Milton, at 10:13 a.m. Sunday. A car driven by Emily S. Wakefield, 31, of 11552 N. Lakeview Drive, Edgerton, was westbound on Highway 59 when a deer ran into it. Wakefield was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Charged

--ANDREW S. CHURCHWELL, 30, of 1912 Purvis Ave., Janesville, with felony aggravated battery to an elderly person, repeater; felony possession of a firearm by a felon, repeater; possession of marijuana, second and subsequent offense. Janesville police say on June 19, 2014, Churchwell was drinking and yelling at a woman who lives in the home. He reportedly pinned her to the couch and punched her in the head and arm repeatedly. Churchwell fled the scene in a car and was found pinned in his car in a cornfield with marijuana and gun-related items. Police also found a gun in the home.

--ROBERT F. DAVISON, 33, of Rockford, Ill., charged with three felony counts of party to burglary and felony party to theft of movable property. Town of Beloit police say on June 3, 2014, Davison helped steal electronics, jewelry and guns from a Beloit home.

--MARCOS GARCIA JR., 22, of 506 S. Jackson St., Janesville, charged with felony possession of marijuana, second and subsequent offense, repeater. Janesville police say on June 22, 2014, marijuana was found on Garcia's person during a search for stolen property.

--CLARENCE L. MOORE, 36, of 215 McKinley St., upper, Janesville, charged with felony strangulation and suffocation, domestic abuse, repeater; misdemeanor battery, domestic abuse, repeater; disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, repeater. Janesville police say on June 23, 2014, Moore grabbed a woman's neck and pressed his thumb to her throat, leaving marks.

--MARCO ANTONIO OJEDA, 20, of Rockford, Ill., charged with three felony counts party to burglary and felony party to theft of movable property. Town of Beloit police say on June 3, 2014, Ojeda helped steal electronics, jewelry and guns from a Beloit home.

--JUAN VELASCO, 18, of 1047 Grant St., Beloit, with felony substantial battery. Beloit police say on June 19, 2014, he punched the father of his ex-girlfriend's children unconscious.
