Rock County Rage improves to 2-0

The Rock County Rage improved to 2-0 in the Ironman Football League with a 42-24 victory over Rock River in Loves Park, Illinois, on Saturday.

Dan Roberts led the Rage with 263 total yards of offense. The Rock County quarterback completed eight of 14 passes for 120 yards and one TD. He also rushed 13 times for 143 yards and another score.

Brennon McElrath rushed eight times for 57 yards and a pair of 1-yard TDs and one from five yards out.

Andrew Worden added a 5-yard scoring run and finished with 65 yards on nine carries.

Rock County rushed 26 times for 292 yards.

Greg Davis and Cordell Dixon each had a sack, while Carl Crawford and Titus Jackson each had four tackles.

The Rage will play the Southern Lakes Blue Devils at 6 p.m. Saturday at Westosha Central High School.
