LAKE GENEVA — The 14th annual Paint-In, sponsored by the Geneva Lake Art Association and the Geneva Lake Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14, and Sunday,  June 15, on Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva.

Families are invited to stroll Main Street and join local artists as they demonstrate their craft.

This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and learn how artists create. View them as they work on watercolor landscapes, unique jewelry, pen and ink drawings and a host of other fine arts. Artists also will have artwork for sale.  Commissions are welcome.

There also will be a special area at Main and Cook streets for kids to create their own works of art.

While you are downtown, walk over to the North Shore Pavilion and visit the association's art gallery.

The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. During the summer, it also is open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.

The summer exhibit titled “Water Works” is on view through Sept. 7. Water is everywhere — it is present in our bodies, the flowers around us and the beautiful lakes in the area.

This is the association's largest exhibit.
