-- WELFARE CHECK, reported at 7:18 p.m. Sunday to a Janesville home. A woman wanted police to check on her boyfriend, who she said is an alcoholic and had not left his bed in two days, according to a police report. The woman said her boyfriend had been using empty bottles for urination and that she wanted police to remove him from her home. Officers assessed the man and determined there was no reason to force him to leave.

-- OLD 92 SOUTH OF CROFT ROAD, TOWN OF UNION, at 9 p.m. May 19. A vehicle driven by Kayle A. Kaupanger, 17, of 427 Cherry St., Evansville, was northbound and lost control on a curve, leaving the road and hitting a tree. Kaupanger was treated at an area hospital and cited for driving too fast for conditions.

-- COUNTY N AT VOGEL ROAD, TOWN OF MILTON, at 5:12 p.m. May 21. A vehicle driven by Pauline M. Hiler, 63, Waunakee, was eastbound when it rear-ended a vehicle driven by Buna Sun, 46, Stoughton, who had slowed to turn left. Hiler was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and cited for driving too fast for conditions.

-- COUNTY P AT CLINTON CORNERS ROAD, TOWN OF CLINTON, at 11:52 a.m. May 24. A vehicle driven by Hailey J. Hagler, 17, of 9204 E. Creek Road, No. 54, Clinton, was westbound on County P when she tried to turn south but could not negotiate the turn. The vehicle struck a utility pole in the southwest corner of the intersection. Hagler was treated at an area hospital and cited for speeding, probationary license violation, underage person with intoxicants in vehicle and seat belt violation. One of her four passengers, Trevor D. Dillinder, 17, of 812 Johnson St., Beloit, was treated at an area hospital.

-- HIGHWAY 14 AT COUNTY MM, TOWN OF HARMONY, at 7:27 a.m. Friday. A motorcycle driven by Mathew A. Kleinschmidt, 55, of 6605 E. County A, Janesville, was northbound on Highway 14 when it rear-ended a vehicle driven by Phyllis M. Loback, 60, of W8494 Creek Road, Darien. Loback had stopped to make a left turn. Kleinschmidt was ejected and hospitalized at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and was discharged the next day. He also was cited for inattentive driving.

-- COUNTY E SOUTH OF HACKBARTH ROAD, TOWN OF JANESVILLE, at 3:08 p.m. May 31. A vehicle driven by John A. Hoffland, 66, of 2506 Bond Place, Janesville, was northbound when it swerved to avoid a turkey in the road. The vehicle struck the turkey, then spun and crossed the southbound lane, entered the ditch and struck a culvert. Hoffland was treated at an area hospital, as was a passenger, Jake J. Bierman, 10, of 1134 N. Pontiac Drive, Janesville.

-- PONTIAC DRIVE AND BLACK BRIDGE ROAD, JANESVILLE, at 8:19 a.m. Monday. A vehicle driven by Doris M. Leeder, 84, of 1816 N. Concord Drive, Janesville, was eastbound on Black Bridge when she collided in the intersection with a southbound vehicle driven by Ann E. Russell-Dewilde, 54, 5048 Acorn Drive, Milton. Russell-Dewilde was treated at an area hospital. Leeder was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way and motor vehicle liability insurance.

-- MILTON AVENUE AND BLACK BRIDGE ROAD, JANESVILLE, at 10:33 a.m. Sunday. A vehicle driven by Trinity J. Casique, 25, of 840 5th St., No. 8, Beloit, was northbound on Milton when it was struck in the intersection by an eastbound vehicle driven by Michelle King, 52, of 1339 S. Oakhill Ave., Janesville. King was treated at an area hospital and cited for violation of red traffic signal. Casique was treated at an area hospital and cited for motor vehicle liability insurance.
